Jon Finch has a wide ranging experience of the cultural sector, gathered at a senior strategic level as Chief Executive of MLA West Midlands and Director of Engagement for MLA.  This is supplemented by the knowledge he has previously gained running public facing cultural organisations in a local authority setting.  Jon has also held a series of non executive roles in recent years, chairing the DCMS Agencies West Midlands partnership and the Swindon Heritage Board, as well as sitting on the South West Tourism and Stoke Children’s University Strategy Boards.

Jon has particular expertise in change management, strategic development, effective governance, influencing and negotiating, delivering to a high standard, even in the most challenging situations.  Jon is also a School Governor at his daughter’s primary school, and enjoys playing and watching sport, when he has a moment.”
